Vista/Windows 7 Installation Procedure

QuickBooks running on Vista/Windows 7 has some unresolved issues with Add On applications like FundsFix. Please follow this procedure for installing FundsFix on Vista/Windows 7.

  1. Double click on FundsFixSetup.exe to start the installation.
  2. When the FundsFix installation is complete, start QuickBooks by right clicking on it and selecting "Run as administrator".
  3. Once QuickBooks starts, give FundsFix permission to run. (Only if QuickBooks asks)
  4. Exit QuickBooks
  5. Subsequently, start QuickBooks normally (e.g. not administrator mode).
  6. WARNING: Do not attempt any other operations while QuickBooks is running in administrator mode.
  7. If you reinstall FundsFix, follow this procedure again.
