Vista/Windows 7 Installation Procedure

QuickBooks running on Vista/Windows 7 has some unresolved issues with Add On applications like FundsFix or DonorsFix. Please follow this procedure for installing on Vista/Windows 7.

Double click on FundsFixSetup.exe or DonorsFixSetup.exe to start the installation.
When the installation is complete, start QuickBooks by right clicking on it and selecting "Run as administrator".
Once QuickBooks starts, give FundsFix or DonorsFix permission to run. (Only if QuickBooks asks)
Exit QuickBooks
Subsequently, start QuickBooks normally (e.g. not administrator mode).
WARNING: Do not attempt any other operations while QuickBooks is running in administrator mode.
If you reinstall FundsFix or DonorsFix, follow this procedure again.
